#11 Texas Tech visits West Virginia in a difficult environment in Morgantown. I think this will be a close game back and forth with a tough Mountaineer defense but Texas Tech prevails in a close one.

I like Purdue at home in this one. Purdue has struggled lately almost blowing a big second have lead against Belmont and has lost tough games recently against Notre Dame and Texas but the junior leadership of Carsen Edwards and improved play of big man Matt Haarms leads Purdue to an upset victory.
1/5/19 #8 Michigan St. @ #14 Ohio St.
This will be a great Big 10 battle to start conference play. I like Michigan St. On the road in this one lead by Cassius Winston. Michigan St. scores almost 90 points a game and have a few good victories lately over Florida and Iowa. I think Ohio St., who hasn’t played in any competitive games lately, comes out sluggish and loses a tough one at home.
