LSU V Memphis

Penny Hardaway will be looking to get his first Top 25 win as coach of Memphis. However, this will not come easy as a very talented LSU team will be looking to build on its 2-0 start. Freshman, Naz Reid, is making an early season name for himself and will guide LSU to a tough win.

Michigan v Villanova

In a rematch of the 2018 title game, Michigan looks to get even. Both teams come into this game with different rosters, but with the same expectations. Both have dreams of a deep tournament run and a win in this game will certainly help come seeding in March. 

Prediction: Villanova over Michigan 

Marquette v Indiana

Steve Wojciechowski looks like he has his best Marquette team yet. Junior, Markus Howard, is coming off a monster 37-point game and looking to build upon his early season success shooting the three ball. Indiana will be good this year, but Marquette gets a key road game victory.

Syracuse v UCONN

These two old rivals square off on basketball’s biggest stage – Madison Square Garden. Dan Hurley has the huskies off to a promising 2-0 start and is looking for his first marquee win. Syracuse returns a talented roster and can compete with any team in the country. Bracket Prediction sees Syracuse as a potential Final Four team. However, there is just something special when UCONN plays at the Garden (its home away from home) and they rise up to the challenge.

St. John’s v Rutgers

In a matchup featuring two old Big East teams, this promises to be a battle to the end. If St. John’s is going to get back to the tournament, they cannot loose these types of games. Rutgers will put up a fight, but St. John’s will get the victory.

Prediction: St. John’s over Rutgers (In a close one) 

UPSET ALERT

Charleston v Oklahoma State

Charleston travels to Sillwater looking to knock off the Cowboys. Oklahoma State lost its season opener to Charlotte in heartbreaking fashion. They look to ride the ship, however, Charleston delivers more bad news. Charleston storms into Stillwater and leaves with a victory. Oklahoma State will have more questions than answers.
